True healing is the willingness to treat yourself and others better than the past ever did.”

Matt Kahn

Welcome…

My name is Gosia and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#18317) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology offering adult individual therapy.  For over twenty years; I have been helping those in need in various capacities.  My education and life experiences have provided me with opportunities to work with individuals of all age groups facing mental health, physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges.  I have worked as a support worker, nurse, and a holistic nutritionist in the hospital, inpatient, emergency as well as private and community settings.  Each of these opportunities have shaped me as a person, expanded my knowledge and perspective, and also initiated my own healing journey.  Over the years, I have been lucky enough to participate in, work with, and learn from many different teachers and practices (such as mindfulness, yoga, plant medicines, transformational breath work, Shamanic healers and integration circles).  Understanding the importance of connection has been instrumental in my choice to become a therapist

Working through my own experience with trauma, depression and anxiety; I truly understand how important it is to feel seen, heard and supported. As an immigrant, I am also familiar with the loneliness, grief, confusion and loss this transition can create within us.  In our work, my intention is to acknowledge all of the unique complexities of your experience that have contributed to the way you see yourself in this world.  I believe that it is only when we are open and willing to see and understand all of our parts; our path to healing can clearly appear creating more capacity and freedom for a shift to take place.
